Ramme Gård is a farm in Hvitsten (about 50km South-East of Oslo), owned by Petter Olsen since 1966. It is run ecological, and is producing milk, meat, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes and other vegetables which are sold in the store on the premises.

But it is much more than just a farm! My friend Nina and I visited the farm in June. We where there for a garden flower sale, and just thought we´d look a bit around. As we turned a corner surprisingly the most magnificent fairy tale garden appeared in front of us. There where statues, waterfalls, fountains and lots and lots of beautiful flowers. You travel through China on your way to the giant penis just waiting to spray you when you walk past. What?? Yes you just have to go there to see it for your self.

In addition they arrange for different cultural events like the Shakespeare festival (Wich we visited as well, and saw “Much Ado About Nothing” by The British Shakespeare Company), exhibits, talks, concerts, Garden Day and a Christmas Market.
